Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leo Yaj (ranked 1804 p4p, 195 weight class) and Lou Nahtic (ranked 2157 p4p, 231 weight class). Yaj comes into the arena with Dragula - Rob Zombie blaring out of the sound system. Nahtic has chosen Sleeping My Day Away as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Leo Yaj has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nahtic takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Yaj takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Nahtic has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Yaj tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nahtic was well out of range. Poor timing from Yaj.
Yaj looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Nahtic!
Nahtic bucks up and tries to throw Yaj off but instead Yaj has got his back!
Nahtic is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Yaj off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Nahtic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
