Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elias Paniki (ranked 2114 p4p, 318 weight class) and Randall Steve (ranked 1306 p4p, 205 weight class). Elias Paniki could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Randall Steve's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Elias Paniki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Randall Steve! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paniki clinches up with Steve and pushes him back against the cage. Paniki manages to break the clinch.
Steve looks to land a combination but Paniki avoids it well. Paniki tries to clinch but Steve is having none of it. Paniki closes the distance and clinches. Steve lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Steve can't break the clinch.
Paniki keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Steve's efforts to push away. Steve working hard to break the clinch. Paniki can't find room to land a body shot as Steve controls the action.

Paniki keeps control of Steve as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Paniki tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Steve avoids it. Steve avoiding damage as Paniki throws knees to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Steve is trying to force a seperation but Paniki has the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paniki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Paniki has Steve up against the cage in a clinch.

Paniki is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Steve is defending well for now. Steve looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A left hand lands to the body for Steve.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Paniki gets through Steve's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Steve lands an uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Paniki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Steve connects with a single shot there. Paniki takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

A cross from Steve lands. Paniki moves in looking to clinch but Steve pushes him off. Paniki tries to clinch up. That kick from Paniki tenderised Steve's leg. Steve is trying to keep his angry face on. Steve connects with a good right hand that stumbles Paniki. Paniki circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Paniki moves to clinch but Steve breaks away and Steve connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Paniki takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Paniki's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Steve connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Paniki scrambles back to his feet. Steve dodges the punch combination from Paniki.
Steve swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. This has been an exciting period of action! Paniki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steve paws at him with a jab and circles away. A clash of legs there as Steve blocks the low kick. Paniki doesn't manage to clinch there - Steve circles away.
Steve looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Paniki moves in looking to clinch but Steve pushes him off. Steve throws out a counter right but Paniki avoids it with no problem. Steve misses with a body shot.

Paniki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Steve manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Paniki swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Steve counters with a nice uppercut. Paniki takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Steve scores with a decent looking hook. Paniki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Steve manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Paniki takes one to the chin there. Paniki throws a sloppy head kick and Steve moves out of range easily. Steve's jab looks to have found its range, popping Paniki under the eye. Paniki drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Paniki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Paniki fails in his attempt to clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Steve circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Paniki looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Paniki moves in looking to clinch but Steve pushes him off. It seemed like Steve was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Paniki wants to clinch up but Steve keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randall Steve dominated that round. That's time! Paniki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Paniki walks into a stiff left hand from Steve. Steve swats away the attempt to clinch by Paniki. Jab by Steve.

Paniki on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A punch combination from Paniki misses. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Steve! But no joy. Steve fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Paniki looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Steve lands a body shot.

As Steve looks to move away, Paniki throws a big counter combo but Steve just gets out of the way. Steve looks to score with a jab to the body but Paniki is just out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steve moves out of range of the body kick from Paniki.
Paniki throws a half hearted mid kick. Steve lands a nice shot to the body.
Paniki is looking to land body kicks. Paniki needs to keep his hands up - Steve had a free shot at his head there. Paniki has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Steve misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Steve swats away the attempt to clinch by Paniki. The fight stays on the outside here - Paniki looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Paniki takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Randall Steve seems to be getting the better of the standup. Paniki moves forwards but Steve connects with a nice, crisp jab. Paniki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Steve lands the left hand. Paniki gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Steve works over Paniki's head and body with a nice combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Paniki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steve circles away quickly and effectively. Oh Paniki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Paniki drops his hands momentarily and Steve takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Steve blocks a head kick by Paniki.
Paniki gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Steve. Paniki takes one to the chin there. Paniki takes a shot right to the bread basket. Paniki throws a body kick that misses. Paniki walks straight into a right hand from Steve - that's dropped him! Steve jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Paniki from any more punishment! Paniki complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Randall Steve! Randall Steve decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. The defeated Elias Paniki had this to say: 'good fight'.
