Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mateusz Biernat (ranked 5430 p4p, 451 weight class) and Demetrious Saint Pierre (ranked 4159 p4p, 379 weight class). Biernat kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Someday. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Demetrious Saint Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Biernat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Biernat.
Biernat rushes Saint Pierre and presses him up against the cage.
Saint Pierre tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Biernat just stands there and leans against the cage.
Saint Pierre looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Saint Pierre jumps guard but Biernat turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Biernat's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd cheers as Biernat lands an impressive looking overhand right. Saint Pierre doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Demetrious Saint Pierre has been cut.
Biernat lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Saint Pierre fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Biernat looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Biernat throws a series of strikes that have Saint Pierre backpedaling.
Biernat fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Saint Pierre throws a looping overhand right but Biernat ducks down to avoid it.
Biernat takes one to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Biernat is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Saint Pierre like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Saint Pierre from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mateusz Biernat!
Our winner, Mateusz Biernat, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
In defeat, Demetrious Saint Pierre stepped up to the mic, saying 'Good fight, buddy. Good fight!'.
