Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pit Mies (ranked 14990 p4p, 798 weight class) and Buster Blighton (ranked 7328 p4p, 703 weight class). Mies comes to the cage accompanied by Condemned 84 - Face the agression. Buster Blighton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

31 - 49 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pit Mies!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Buster Blighton !
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blighton doesn't manage to clinch there - Mies circles away.
Blighton shoots in for a takedown but Mies shows good takedown defense.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mies pulls Blighton into guard.
Mies has his hands on Blighton 's head, controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blighton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Blighton wants to control from the top but Mies keeps moving.

Mies has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Blighton is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mies.

That's time! Mies's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Blighton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mies but Mies pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mies dives in for a single leg takedown but Blighton sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Blighton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mies's waist but Mies gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blighton off to one side.
Mies gets a clinch.
Mies jumps into guard, dragging Blighton to the mat.
Blighton throws a strike but Mies rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Blighton tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mies wants to stand but Blighton is controlling his posture from full guard.
Mies is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Blighton can do to turn this around?

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Blighton misses with a series of wild punches.
Mies throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blighton 's waist but Blighton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mies off to one side.
Mies decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Blighton tries to get to full guard but Mies has control of the leg.
Blighton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mies's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mies's back!

Blighton is hanging on to Mies's back as he tries to escape.
Mies is having to fend off submission attempts from Blighton , who is looking to sink in the choke. Blighton doesn't have the hooks in though and Mies manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Blighton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mies defends it easily.

Mies is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Blighton tries to roll over but Mies keeps him under control.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
A left lands for Mies.
Blighton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mies is fending him off so far but Blighton persists. Nope, Mies circles away and we're back to standing.
A slow jab from Mies misses its intended target.
Mies shoots in looking for a takedown but Blighton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mies's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Blighton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mies has his feet on Blighton 's thighs here. He's pushed Blighton off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Blighton screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
