Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Aaron Wolfie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
40 - 27 - 2, fighting out of London, Kirk St Lazarus! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolfie wants to clinch. Ouch! a nice leg kick from St Lazarus, right into the meat.
Wolfie darts in trying to clinch and St Lazarus counters with a good low kick that Wolfie was not able to check. St Lazarus scores with a jab to the head.
Wolfie wants to clinch up but St Lazarus keeps it at a distance. Wolfie moves in looking to clinch but St Lazarus pushes him off. Wolfie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. St Lazarus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. St Lazarus misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Wolfie counters with a left and a right that stings St Lazarus. St Lazarus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wolfie sees it coming and avoids it easily. Wolfie tries to close the distance and clinch up but St Lazarus swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wolfie tries to clinch but St Lazarus is having none of it. St Lazarus only half commits to the counter leg kick. Wolfie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but St Lazarus paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Lazarus circles away from the clinch attempt and St Lazarus counters with a lovely straight right hand! Wolfie shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Wolfie tries to clinch and St Lazarus counters with a nice uppercut. St Lazarus throws a lazy right hand but Wolfie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. It looked like Wolfie was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. A head kick lands from St Lazarus that sends Wolfie to the canvas. Wolfie tries to scramble back to his feet but St Lazarus brings him back down into side control.
Wolfie is rocked!
It looks like Aaron Wolfie has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! St Lazarus in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Wolfie looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! St Lazarus turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
