The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rose clinches up against the cage.

Rose gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Irons regains guard.

Irons has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rose off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Rose throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Irons shoots in for a takedown but Rose shows good takedown defense.

Irons forces Rose back against the cage and clinches.

Irons breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rose throws a series of punches but Irons avoids them all with ease.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rose has taken the fight to the clinch.

Rose lands a takedown into guard.
Rose stops Irons from standing up.

Irons had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rose defends it easily.
Irons keeping full guard, as Rose tries to pass.

Rose throws an elbow that misses. Irons uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rose's guard. Nice move by Irons!

Irons looking to sit in guard and control but Rose gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Rose throws a big elbow that misses.
Rose has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Irons is proving hard to escape from.

Irons pushes a forearm under Rose's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Rose is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
