Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Jones (ranked 9455 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pepa Mengel (ranked 4827 p4p, 0 weight class). Mengel has chosen Sieg Heil Viktoria as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Pepa Mengel will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mengel misses with a double jab.
Jones is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Mengel.
Mengel has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mengel uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones.
Mengel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A combination from Mengel does no damage.
Mengel throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mengel misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Mengel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jones clinches up against the cage.
Jones tries to pull guard but Mengel forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pepa Mengel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mengel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Mengel misses with a body shot.

Mengel cracks Jones with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Mengel tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jones is able to avoid easily.
Mengel throws a shot from downtown. Jones moves away and avoids it.
Jones is looking to counter the offense by Mengel and move into the clinch.
Mengel throws a push kick but Jones slaps the foot to one side.
Mengel takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jones clinches up with Mengel and pushes him back against the cage.
Jones manages to break the clinch.
Mengel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Jones was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Mengel throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.
Mengel throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Mengel looks winded!

Jones really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Mengel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mengel keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones.
Jones sets himself, and Mengel steps forward looking for the clinch! Jones avoids it this time.
Mengel tries to work over Jones's front leg with a kick but Jones checks it.
As Mengel tries to get set, Jones tries to push him back and clinch up but Mengel manages to avoid the attempt.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones tries to clinch but Mengel is having none of it.
A big left from Mengel misses.
Jones takes a swing at Mengel's ribcage but misses.
Mengel misses the shot to the body.
Nice jab there from Mengel.
Jones rushes Mengel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jones ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones wants to stand and escape but Mengel is having none of it.
Jones pushes a forearm under Mengel's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Mengel is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
