The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Rijn punishes Peterson's body with a nice straight punch.
Peterson misses with a wild body shot.
Peterson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Van Rijn. That one must have hurt.

Van Rijn has taken the fight to the clinch.
Peterson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Van Rijn avoids it.

Van Rijn lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

It looked like Van Rijn was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Van Rijn lands a brutal head kick. Peterson looks out on his feet and Van Rijn throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
