Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Detective Tequila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Talavou Alelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Detective Tequila has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Talavou Alelo!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tequila tries to clinch there but Alelo circles away.
Alelo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tequila tries to avoid it but Alelo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tequila to the ground. Tequila escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Talavou Alelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tequila misses with a takedown
and Alelo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tequila won't be happy with that.
Tequila is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Alelo has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Alelo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Alelo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tequila has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Alelo is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alelo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Tequila wants to control but Alelo is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Alelo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tequila keeps working.
Alelo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tequila. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Alelo wants to pass to mount but Tequila is defending the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Alelo connects with a nice short shot to Tequila's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tequila has hold of Alelo's hands but Alelo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Tequila makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tequila.
Alelo lands a couple of digs.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Tequila is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Alelo rolls with it to try and escape but Tequila cranks on the arm and Alelo is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
