Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hudson (ranked 24831 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Cassin (ranked 6248 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeff Cassin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Hudson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Cassin! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cassin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hudson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hudson throws Cassin to one side and escapes! Cassin gets in close and instigates a clinch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Hudson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Cassin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hudson to the mat. Hudson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cassin tries to free his leg and advance position but Hudson is retaining full guard. Hudson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cassin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hudson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hudson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cassin controls the pace. Hudson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Cassin has his hands clasped together but Hudson extends and breaks Cassin's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hudson.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dan Hudson!
