Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Crazy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Pot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crazy takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Crazy throws a right and a left that both miss. Crazy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Crazy tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Pot. Crazy is thwarting Pot's attempts to control the position. Crazy seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Pot has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crazy is working away from the top position though. Pot tries to get to full guard but Crazy has control of the leg. Crazy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Pot gets full guard. Pot trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crazy trying to control the position from guard on top but Pot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crazy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pot is proving hard to escape from. Pot manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Crazy manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pot sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Crazy's guard. Crazy wants to control but Pot is keeping busy and won't allow it. Pot thows a huge punch but Crazy dodges it nicely.
Crazy is looking to improve his position.
Crazy lands with a few short shots to the body. Pot is looking to take a break and control but Crazy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Crazy is breathing heavily. Crazy is trying to stand back up but Pot is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round. Crazy misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A punch combination from Crazy misses. Pot shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Crazy but Crazy pushes him off and we're back to square one. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pot.
Crazy forces Pot back against the cage and clinches. Crazy works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Pot has his hands on Crazy's head, controlling the position. Crazy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Crazy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Pot is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crazy is looking to work some ground and pound but Pot has wrist control. Crazy won't allow Pot to sweep him here. Pot controls Crazy momentarily but Crazy frees himself.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Pot lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Pot dodges the punch combination from Crazy.
Pot misses with a body kick. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pot lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Pot throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Crazy. Pot throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Crazy's waist but Crazy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pot off to one side. Pot tries to bum rush Crazy with a series of wild strikes but Crazy uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Crazy moves in looking to clinch but Pot pushes him off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joe Crazy will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Pot has a takedown stuffed. Pot shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Crazy but Crazy pushes him off and we're back to square one. Crazy throws a combination. Pot tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Decent striking displayed by Crazy there. Pot is looking to clinch. Joe Crazy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crazy has Pot up against the cage in a clinch.
Crazy gets a trip takedown into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Crazy in particular looking to stall. Crazy trying to control from half guard but Pot is working away. Pot has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crazy is working away from the top position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crazy is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Crazy wants to stand up but Pot has a hold of him and won't allow it. Crazy is tying to control. Pot wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A head kick misses from Pot. Pot gets a clinch. Crazy blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Pot crunches a lovely knee into Crazy's ribcage. Pot lands a nice knee to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pot misses with a knee strike.

Crazy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pot pulls his leg out and moves away.

Crazy throws a combination that misses and Pot counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Pot breaks the clinch.
Pot connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Crazy tries to bum rush Pot with a series of wild strikes but Pot uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pot swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Crazy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Crazy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pot on the ground. Pot avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pot is trying to keep Crazy in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crazy pushes down on Pot's leg and manages to get into half guard. Pot is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crazy decides to return to a standing position. Pot fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Joe Crazy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Pot. Crazy has taken the fight to the clinch.

Pot wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Crazy has him pressed against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Pot. Crazy avoids a wild elbow strike from Pot. Pot is looking to control Crazy's arms but Crazy gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pot has his back to the cage. Pot can't find room to land a body shot as Crazy controls the action.

Pot's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pot tries a head kick but it misses.
Pot wants to clinch up but Crazy keeps it at a distance. Crazy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Pot is looking to get to half guard. Crazy in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Crazy dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Crazy throws a right and a left that Pot avoids nicely. Pot throws a low kick but it's checked well by Crazy. Pot throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crazy. Pot tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Crazy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Crazy throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Pot has one foot on Crazy's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Crazy misses with the combination.
Crazy throws a wild combination but nothing lands. No joy there for Crazy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pot has his takedown stuffed so Crazy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Crazy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Crazy trying to control the position from guard on top but Pot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pot controlling Crazy's posture. Pot can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Crazy controls the pace. Crazy wants to pass the guard but Pot is keeping the position. Pot controls Crazy momentarily but Crazy frees himself. Pot looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pot working a defensive guard here.
Joe Crazy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Pot closes the distance and clinches. Pot using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Crazy has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Crazy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Crazy is nestled in close to Pot, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Crazy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Crazy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
