Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Poffo (ranked 490 p4p, 76 weight class) and Bruce Wayne (ranked 832 p4p, 134 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Poffo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Wayne!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Poffo shoots in looking for a takedown but Wayne manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Poffo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

It seemed like Wayne was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Wayne has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Poffo is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Poffo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wayne sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Poffo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Poffo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Randy Poffo has been cut.

Wayne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Poffo was well out of range. Poor timing from Wayne.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Poffo is working for a kimura but Wayne is defending it quite comfortably.

Wayne is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Poffo pulls his head out easily.

Wayne is rocked!
Poffo lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Wayne quite badly. Wayne pulls Poffo in close trying to recover. Poffo postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Wayne on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Wayne doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Poffo!
A very excited looking Randy Poffo made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Bruce Wayne was interviewed post fight and said 'I fear only the Fart Master....'.
