Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elbert Crosby (ranked 6381 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Slapp (ranked 7005 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Slapp! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slapp throws a series of punches but Crosby avoids them all with ease. Slapp throws a series of punches but Crosby avoids them all with ease. Slapp dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Crosby could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Crosby gets a double leg takedown into Slapp's guard. Crosby drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Crosby jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Crosby's corner is telling him to maintain position. Slapp wants to stand up but Crosby is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crosby is working Slapp over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Slapp is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crosby stays in close to Slapp's body and controls the position. Crosby gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Slapp cracks Crosby with a good jab. Slapp scores with a one two! Crosby had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Elbert Crosby has been cut. Slapp misses with a series of wild punches.
Slapp looks to land a combination but Crosby avoids it well. Crosby drops down looking for a counter takedown but Slapp sprawls and moves away. Slapp closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Crosby out cold! Crosby corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
