Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ron Harper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Uhu Uhu Perpai!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perpai wants to clinch.
Perpai misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Harper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Perpai as he avoids it easily.
Perpai throws a head kick but Harper moves out of range.
Harper half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Perpai tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harper swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Perpai bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Harper throws a push kick but Perpai slaps the foot to one side.
Harper misses with a body shot.
Perpai stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Perpai wants it to stay on the feet.
Perpai misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Perpai lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Harper circles away quickly and effectively.
Perpai is looking to clinch.
Harper drops down looking for a counter takedown but Perpai sprawls and moves away.

Harper darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Perpai tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Harper manages to move to mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Harper postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Perpai looks a forlorn figure.
Perpai tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Perpai is still trying to improve position.
Harper looking to control but Perpai is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Perpai tries to buck Harper off but he can't manage it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Perpai is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Perpai wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Harper has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Perpai taps furiously! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Ron Harper thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
