Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fujiwara Tsuyoshi (ranked 2431 p4p, 223 weight class) and Erik Hiller (ranked 2643 p4p, 247 weight class). Hiller has chosen Rush and Run - Shake and Jump as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fujiwara Tsuyoshi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Erik Hiller! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsuyoshi throws a body punch but Hiller moves out of range. A head kick misses from Hiller. Tsuyoshi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hiller looks to land a left hand but Tsuyoshi moved out of range nicely. Tsuyoshi appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Tsuyoshi tries a head kick but it misses.
Tsuyoshi connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hiller's hands. Hiller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hiller misses with an uppercut
and Tsuyoshi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hiller tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tsuyoshi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tsuyoshi moves out of range as Hiller strikes. Hiller slips under a jab. A telegraphed right hand from Tsuyoshi misses the target. Hiller with the counter takedown but Tsuyoshi avoids it easily. Hiller moves in looking to clinch but Tsuyoshi pushes him off. A head kick misses from Hiller. An attempted straight right counter from Tsuyoshi misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hiller is looking to clinch but Tsuyoshi is avoiding it.
Hiller tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tsuyoshi swivels and escapes. Tsuyoshi throwing a counter right hand but Hiller manages to avoid it. Fujiwara Tsuyoshi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hiller scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Tsuyoshi is trying to maintain the position but Hiller is very close to passing his half guard. Hiller is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tsuyoshi is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Samran Muay Thai, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Tsuyoshi is looking to improve his position.
Hiller is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tsuyoshi defends it well. Tsuyoshi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hiller is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hiller wants to free his trapped foot but Tsuyoshi is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hiller is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tsuyoshi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hiller. Tsuyoshi tries to kick Hiller off but Hiller keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Tsuyoshi is looking for a sweep. Hiller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hiller trying to control from Tsuyoshi's half guard. Tsuyoshi has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hiller gets to his feet. Tsuyoshi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Tsuyoshi moves out of range of the body kick. Tsuyoshi seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Hiller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tsuyoshi to the mat! Tsuyoshi manages to get full guard. Hiller slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Hiller wants to control but Tsuyoshi is keeping him busy. Hiller fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Hiller decides to stand up, so the ref orders Tsuyoshi to his feet. Hiller dives in and grabs Tsuyoshi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tsuyoshi pushes down on Hiller's head and hops out. Tsuyoshi cracks Hiller with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tsuyoshi avoids the body shot from Hiller.
It looked like Tsuyoshi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Hiller throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Hiller thuds his right hand into Tsuyoshi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Hiller closes the distance looking to clinch enabling Tsuyoshi to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hiller feints and as Tsuyoshi raises his hands in defense, Hiller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tsuyoshi wriggles free and stands up. Tsuyoshi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tsuyoshi wants it to stay on the feet. Fujiwara Tsuyoshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erik Hiller. Hiller misses with the body kick and Tsuyoshi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hiller jumps guard but Tsuyoshi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Hiller managing to block the knees to the body from Tsuyoshi.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Hiller. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Fujiwara Tsuyoshi will probably get the nod. That's time! Tsuyoshi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hiller fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tsuyoshi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Tsuyoshi throws a head kick that misses. Hiller shoots in for a double leg but Tsuyoshi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hiller fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Fujiwara Tsuyoshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erik Hiller. A looping hook to the body misses from Tsuyoshi. Hiller does a little dance to reset his feet. Hiller is looking to clinch but Tsuyoshi is avoiding it.
A head kick from Hiller lands but Tsuyoshi takes it in his stride. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hiller lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tsuyoshi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tsuyoshi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tsuyoshi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tsuyoshi slaps away a takedown attempt from Hiller, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tsuyoshi is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Hiller misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hiller shoots for a takedown but Tsuyoshi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hiller feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Tsuyoshi pushes Hiller off and gets back to his feet.
Hiller tries for a takedown but Tsuyoshi circles away easily and Tsuyoshi counters with a stiff right hand. Tsuyoshi stuffs the takedown. Hiller moves forwards but Tsuyoshi connects with a nice, crisp jab. Hiller with a poor takedown and Tsuyoshi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Hiller is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tsuyoshi clobbers Hiller with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Erik Hiller has been cut. Hiller takes one to the side of the head.
Hiller throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hiller - that will leave a mark!
Hiller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tsuyoshi avoids it really well and circles away. Nice sprawl there from Tsuyoshi as Hiller shoots in. Hiller misses with a head kick.
Tsuyoshi moves out of range as Hiller throws a body kick.
Tsuyoshi lands a nice shot that snaps Hiller's head back.
Tsuyoshi cracks Hiller with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tsuyoshi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hiller to stand back up!
Hiller is rocked! Hiller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tsuyoshi counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fujiwara Tsuyoshi! After winning the bout, Fujiwara Tsuyoshi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
