Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dooog Partaaay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Partaaay's entrance music is Doooog Paartaaay. A fine choice. Dooog Partaaay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivey jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Partaaay misses the jab.

Ivey looks to land a combination but Partaaay avoids it well.
Partaaay tries to land a front kick but Ivey steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Partaaay displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ivey throws out the jab.

Partaaay is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Partaaay pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ivey might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Partaaay tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ivey swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Partaaay.
Partaaay shoots for a double leg takedown but Ivey sprawls well. He's pushed Partaaay's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dooog Partaaay has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
