Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rancho Wildslap (ranked 2730 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Sekany (ranked 5900 p4p, 0 weight class). Wildslap kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get Schwifty. Sekany has chosen Centerfield as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Sekany! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sekany swinging wildly here.
Wildslap throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sekany tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wildslap is in Sekany's guard. Sekany keeping full guard, as Wildslap tries to pass. Wildslap has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Wildslap trying to control the position from guard on top but Sekany is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wildslap forces his way into half guard. Wildslap trying to pass the guard but Sekany defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wildslap frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wildslap is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Sekany is in real trouble.
Wildslap is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Sekany defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Wildslap looking for the choke but no joy. Wildslap is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Sekany has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Wildslap is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sekany is trying to stand back up. Wildslap has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Sekany defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Wildslap's arms. Wildslap looking to break Sekany's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Sekany remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wildslap will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wildslap looking for the choke but no joy. Wildslap has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Wildslap working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wildslap tightening his grip on Sekany, looking for the choke. Wildslap patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wildslap is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Sekany defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Wildslap goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Sekany escapes and is now in half guard on top. Wildslap is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sekany pulls his head out easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wildslap makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wildslap. Wildslap working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sekany. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rancho Wildslap dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sekany lands with a hook. Wildslap tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Wildslap scores with a takedown into Sekany's guard. Wildslap is standing up over Sekany. Sekany looks to escape but Wildslap dives into side control.
Wildslap working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Wildslap wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sekany keeps working. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wildslap goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sekany has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wildslap but great work by Sekany. Sekany tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sekany working away. Sekany lands a nice forearm strike. Wildslap manages to get back to half guard. Wildslap looking for submissions off his back. Wildslap is not content to let Sekany control the position. Wildslap looking for submissions off his back. Wildslap is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sekany can do to turn this around? Sekany drops an elbow to the side of Wildslap's head. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sekany working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Sekany is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wildslap is just riding it out for now. Sekany eventually gives up the hold.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sekany seems to be working for a kimura but Wildslap defends the submission attempt. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Wildslap here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Wildslap tries to get to full guard but Sekany has control of the leg. Wildslap avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sekany. Sekany wants to stand but Wildslap has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Wildslap regains full guard. Nicely done. Wildslap is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sekany rolls with it to try and escape but Wildslap cranks on the arm and Sekany is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rancho Wildslap! A victorious Rancho Wildslap thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter. Jake Sekany spoke after the fight, saying 'Don't make me throw a ball at you, you got lucky and I will be back. I never quit, I am like herpes I just comeback stronger...'.
