Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ashar Ali (ranked 6302 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 6457 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ashar Ali! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar looks to score with a jab to the body but Ali is just out of range. Ali appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Lesnar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A little feinted left hand from Ali on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Ali tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lesnar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lesnar stuffs the takedown. Ali fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lesnar, pushing him back against the cage. Lesnar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ali throws a looping overhand right but Lesnar ducks down to avoid it. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Lesnar throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lesnar trying to control but Ali is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ali has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lesnar has managed to get both his arms back between Ali's legs - danger averted. Lesnar looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Lesnar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lesnar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ali might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ali keeping moving, preventing Lesnar from controlling successfully. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ali is defended easily by Lesnar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ali but Ali pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ali fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ashar Ali. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ali has a takedown stuffed. Ali shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ali was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Ali is trying to ground and pound but Lesnar uses the momentary lack of control by Ali to regain half guard. Lesnar keeps control of the position for the meantime. Ali knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lesnar on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar trying to control here.
Ali is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Lesnar reverses the position - he's now on top in Ali's guard. Ali has control of Lesnar's left arm, preventing Lesnar from doing any damage. Lesnar's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lesnar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lesnar stands and throws Ali's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lesnar scores with a couple of short elbows. Ali prevents Lesnar from improving position. Lesnar sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ali is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lesnar passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ali! Lesnar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lesnar controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Lesnar dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Lesnar stuffs the takedown. Lesnar walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ali checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Ali looks to land a combination but Lesnar avoids it well. Ali tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lesnar paws at him with a jab and circles away. Some wild striking there from Ali.
Ali moves in looking to clinch but Lesnar pushes him off. Lesnar slaps away a takedown attempt from Ali, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lesnar rushes Ali and presses him up against the cage. Lesnar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ali smiles and moves away.

Lesnar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lesnar throws a nice looking combination but Ali bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ashar Ali is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lesnar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ali is fending him off so far but Lesnar persists. Nope, Ali circles away and we're back to standing. Ali shoots in but Lesnar avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lesnar throws a big counter head kick but Ali avoids it with no problem. Lesnar scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Ali has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Lesnar is on him like a limpet, forcing Ali back against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lesnar breaks from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lesnar throws the kick towards the body but Ali avoids it. Lesnar scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Lesnar performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ali keeps working. Ali is trying to stand back up but Lesnar is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Ali keeping hold of Lesnar's head, controlling as best he can. Lesnar is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lesnar performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ali is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Lesnar jumps into side control! Lesnar tries to stand but Ali is controlling his head. Lesnar content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ali throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ali shoots in for a double leg but Lesnar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Brock Lesnar seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ali throws a shot from downtown. Lesnar moves away and avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Brock Lesnar will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Lesnar tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ali just stands there and leans against the cage. Lesnar fails to pull guard.
Ali looking for a takedown. Ali jumps guard but Lesnar turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. A bit of stalling here from Ali.
Lesnar is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ali to keep the fight standing. Ashar Ali has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar. Lesnar is trying to drag Ali to the mat but Ali just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ali has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lesnar after a bit of a struggle. Ali is working for takedown but Lesnar is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ali has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Lesnar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ali is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lesnar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ali shoots in but no luck this time. Ali shoots in for a takedown but Lesnar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lesnar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ali manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Lesnar slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ali has momentary wrist control but Lesnar slips an elbow through the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar tries to stand but Ali is controlling from the bottom. Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Ali is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lesnar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lesnar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lesnar slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ali looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Lesnar puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ali trying to get back to full guard but Lesnar takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Ali takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Lesnar tries to control but Ali wriggling away. Ali is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar punishing his opponent with strikes. Lesnar sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lesnar has hold of Ali's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ali manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ali wants to hold on but Lesnar pushes him away. Ashar Ali has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Brock Lesnar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ali is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Brock Lesnar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Lesnar winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
