Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Witcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Cox!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Witcher darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Cox tries to clinch up.
Cox tries to clinch there but Witcher circles away.

Cox fails in his attempt to clinch.
Witcher scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cox throws a sloppy head kick and Witcher moves out of range easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cox looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Witcher was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Witcher stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Witcher throws an overhand right that lands on Cox's shoulder, as Cox tries to avoid the shot.
Witcher looks to throw the jab but Cox is out of range.
Cox closes the distance and clinches.
Still in the clinch, Witcher scores with a nice short uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cox pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cox misses with a combination
and Witcher counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cox moves out of range as Witcher strikes.
Witcher takes the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Witcher lands a shoulder strike.
Cox breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Witcher feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cox sprawling to the canvas! Cox rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Witcher finish him?!
Cox is rocked!
Witcher has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Touch Of Death Combat Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Cox walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Witcher swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sam Witcher!
Sam Witcher bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
