The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abai gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and The Kid counters with a nice right hand that sends Abai toppling to the canvas! Abai scrambles and gets back to his feet - can The Kid finish him?!
Abai is rocked!
It looks like Ibrahim Abai has been cut.
Abai with a lazy takedown attempt
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Abai looks winded!
Abai wants to clinch.
The Kid tried to counter with a leg kick but Abai avoided it.
Abai shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and The Kid counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bill The Kid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ibrahim Abai.
Abai looks up at the clock. Bad move! The Kid lands a right hand from hell, dropping Abai. The Kid pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bill The Kid!
