Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Erik Hiller (ranked 3179 p4p, 312 weight class) and Mario Jose Binay (ranked 5266 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiller's entrance music is Rush and Run - Shake and Jump. A fine choice. Erik Hiller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erik Hiller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 22 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mario Jose Binay! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Binay throws a big shot that misses. Binay throws a head kick but Hiller moves out of range.
Hiller takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hiller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Binay sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hiller somewhat. Binay raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Hiller has taken the fight to the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Binay. Binay lands a body punch. Hiller tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Binay avoids it. Hiller fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Binay blocks an elbow strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hiller jumps guard but Binay stands there with Hiller around his waist. Hiller gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erik Hiller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Binay lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hiller backwards. Hiller tries to pull guard but Binay forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Binay using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hiller has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's one minute gone in the round. Binay stands up and waves to Hiller to follow him. The fight moves into the clinch position. Binay tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Hiller misses with an elbow over the top. Binay working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Hiller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Hiller tries to pull guard but Binay forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Hiller tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Hiller digs a right hand into Binay's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Binay's gas tank. Binay gets through Hiller's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Binay lands an elbow just above Hiller 's eye. Hiller with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Binay wants to control from the top but Hiller keeps moving. Hiller is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Binay defends well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Binay looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Binay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hiller swivels though and keeps the full guard. Binay trying to control the position from guard on top but Hiller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Binay slips nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Binay seems content to control. Hiller wants to get back to his feet.
Binay wants to free his trapped foot but Hiller is holding on for dear life with his legs. Binay wants to get back to his feet.
Binay stalling away here and it's allowed Hiller to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Hiller thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Binay trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hiller is trying to keep Binay in close.
Hiller looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Binay advances to half guard. Binay trying to control the action but Hiller is working from the bottom. Binay tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hiller knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Binay is trying to work for a kimura but Hiller is defending well.
Hiller is defending against the submission attempts here by Binay.
Hiller is looking for a sweep. Binay is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mario Jose Binay dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Binay misses with an uppercut. Hiller saw that one coming. Hiller half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Binay looks to land a combination but Hiller avoids it well. Hiller looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Hiller avoids the head kick by Binay.
Hiller tries to counter with a takedown but Binay is quick to defend against it. Binay connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Hiller throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Binay's head. Hiller shoots in for a takedown but Binay shows good takedown defense. Hiller darts in and clinches Binay up against the cage. Hiller drops down looking for an ankle pick but Binay pulls his leg out and moves away.
Binay throws a sloppy head kick and Hiller moves out of range easily. Hiller goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Binay misses with a body shot.
Hiller wants to clinch. Hiller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! No luck for Hiller with that takedown attempt. It looks like Erik Hiller has been cut. Binay swats away the attempt to clinch by Hiller. Binay is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hiller with a body shot. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Binay throws the kick towards the body but Hiller avoids it. Binay scores with a three punch combo!
Hiller moves out of range of the leg kick from Binay. Binay ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Hiller looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! It looks like Hiller is going to stand back up.

Hiller is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Binay is in real trouble.
Hiller is not going to allow Binay to sit and survive in this position. Binay is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Hiller off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Binay defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard. Binay controls from within his opponent's guard. Hiller is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Binay rolls with it to try and escape but Hiller cranks on the arm and Binay is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
