Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between I C Wiener (ranked 6079 p4p, 500 weight class) and Bobby TupperII (ranked 9903 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

31 - 40 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby TupperII! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! TupperII shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wiener sprawls well. Wiener wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. TupperII gets slowly back to his feet. TupperII displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wiener. We've been told by Wiener's head coaches at Main Event that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Wiener gets caught napping as TupperII dives in and scores a takedown. Wiener manages to retain guard. TupperII postures up in Wiener's guard and throws a big left but Wiener blocks it. TupperII throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. TupperII postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wiener is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of TupperII, into his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. TupperII is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Wiener preventing the sweep. Wiener passes into half guard. Wiener in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. TupperII tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Wiener!
