The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes needs to keep his hands up - Dee had a free shot at his head there.
Holmes misses with a jab to the body
and Dee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Holmes throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hank Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheers as Dee lands an impressive looking overhand right. Holmes doesn't seem phased though.

Holmes takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

After the fight, Bubba Dee was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
