Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Natural Born Killer (ranked 519 p4p, 57 weight class) and Kylar Sensei (ranked 705 p4p, 69 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Natural Born Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kylar Sensei!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sensei misses the shot to the body.
Killer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Sensei throws an overhand right that lands on Killer's shoulder, as Killer tries to avoid the shot.
Killer darts in trying to clinch
and Sensei counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sensei swings away with a body shot that misses
and Killer counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Killer thows a leg kick but Sensei checks it

and Sensei counters with a single leg into guard. Killer didn't expect that.
Killer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sensei manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sensei looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Sensei working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Killer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Killer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Killer would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Killer gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Killer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sensei on the side of the head.

Killer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Killer prevents Sensei from breaking the clinch.
Killer misses with a hook to the ribs.

Sensei wants a takedown.

Come on Killer - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Killer is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Death Valley Training Facility, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Killer tries to roll over but Sensei keeps him under control.

Sensei postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Killer lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Sensei counters with a left to the body.

Killer darts in and clinches Sensei up against the cage.
Killer lands a shot to the body.
Killer misses with a body punch.
Killer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sensei avoids it.
Killer misses with a knee strike.
Sensei is trying to pull guard but Killer turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Killer misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Killer throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sensei blocks it with crossed arms.
Killer misses with a punch to the body.
Killer misses with a hook from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Killer tries to land knees in the clinch but Sensei avoids the damage to the body.

Sensei pulls guard successfully.

Sensei working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Killer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Killer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Killer won't allow Sensei to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sensei is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Killer is aware though and is defending well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Killer wants to get up but he can't break Sensei's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Sensei escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Killer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Killer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Sensei is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sensei throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Kylar Sensei showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Natural Born Killer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
