Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Sten (ranked 3856 p4p, 194 weight class) and Pozar Pozar (ranked 3288 p4p, 172 weight class). Pozar has chosen z Buta Wjeżdzam as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Sten! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 38 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pozar Pozar! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sten throws a wild body kick that Pozar sees coming a mile off. Pozar changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Pozar shoots in looking for a takedown. Sten tries to sprawl out of it but Pozar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sten manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Pozar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sten counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Pozar dives in and grabs Sten's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sten pushes down on Pozar's head and hops out. Dan Sten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pozar Pozar. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sten. Pozar misses with a hook. Pozar fails in his attempt to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pozar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pozar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Pozar misses the shot to the body. Sten swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sten throws a push kick but Pozar slaps the foot to one side. Pozar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pozar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Sten is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Pozar dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Pozar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sten keeps working. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Sten wants to get back to his feet but Pozar drags him back down. Sten might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pozar wants to control but Sten is keeping him busy. Pozar gets to mount! Sten was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Sten defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Pozar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pozar looking to control but Sten is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sten working to try and regain half guard.
Pozar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sten is looking to escape. Sten keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pozar wants to control the pace but Sten is squirming around nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sten is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sten bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Sten avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pozar wants to sweep but no luck. Sten slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Pozar is pulling down on Sten's head to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sten controls from within his opponent's guard. Pozar is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sten is controlling him. Sten passes Pozar's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pozar is looking to control Sten's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pozar avoid being mounted? Still in half guard, Sten seems content to control. Pozar is trying to control but can't.
Sten keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Pozar looking for submissions off his back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pozar misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Sten trying to mount his opponent but Pozar defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dan Sten will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Pozar with a poor takedown and Sten holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sten throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Pozars head. Sten tries to throw a body punch but Pozar avoids it by throwing Sten back against the cage. Sten has a couple of punches blocked by Pozar.
Pozar is trying to pull guard but Sten has him pressed against the cage. Sten goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

A head punch on the inside from Sten fails to land. Sten landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Sten escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sten tries to land knees in the clinch but Pozar avoids the damage to the body. Pozar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sten pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dan Sten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pozar Pozar. Sten misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pozar.
Nice body punch from Sten. Pozar will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pozar shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pozar showed some decent athleticism there. Sten is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pozar Pozar has got the better of the ground game so far. Sten gets back to full guard.
Sten pushes Pozar off and scrambles back to his feet.
Sten circles away from the clinch attempt and Sten counters with a thumping low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sten gets in close and instigates a clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sten throws a punch but it's blocked by Pozar. Pozar goes for a takedown attempt but Sten pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Pozar throws a leg kick but Sten sees it coming and checks it nicely. Pozar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sten stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sten wants it to stay on the feet. Sten lands with a nice body punch. Pozar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sten counters with a straight right hand. A head kick misses from Sten.

Pozar jumps guard but Sten stands there with Pozar around his waist. Pozar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pozar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sten sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sten is looking to wear down Pozar with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Sten takes a swing at Pozar's ribcage but misses. Pozar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sten circles away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sten thuds his shin into the meat of Pozar's side. Sten misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pozar goes for a double leg but Sten avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sten continues to drive forward. Sten is looking to counter the offense by Pozar and move into the clinch. Sten scores with a decent looking hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Sten dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Sten lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Pozar gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Pozar moves in looking to clinch but Sten pushes him off. Sten is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pozar can do to turn this around? Sten feints and then cracks Pozar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pozar down. Sten moves into the clinch. Sten throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Pozars head. Sten breaks the clinch.
Sten tries to clinch but fails miserably and Pozar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sten won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pozar trying to control the action but Sten is working from the bottom. Pozar tries for a kimura but Sten is defending well. Sten is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pozar has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Sten works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Pozar walks forward, straight into a front kick from Sten. Sten is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Pozar Pozar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pozar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sten as he avoids it easily. Dan Sten is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pozar tries to clinch but Sten moves out of range. Sten clinches with his opponent.

Sten pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pozar misses with a takedown and Sten counters with a big head kick but Pozar shrugs it off. Sten misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sten misses with a body kick. Sten dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Sten throws a head kick that misses. Pozar tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Sten throws a head kick that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pozar dives in for a single leg takedown but Sten sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Dan Sten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pozar Pozar. Pozar walks into a left hand. Sten throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Pozar falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sten counters with a low kick, right behind Pozar 's knee. Dan Sten is winning the standup battle so far. Pozar is looking to clinch. Pozar tries a head kick but it misses.
Sten misses the shot to the body. Sten leaves Pozar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Sten digs a good hook to Pozar's body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sten has closed the distance and engaged Pozar in a clinch.
Sten lands a hook that snaps the head of Pozar backwards. Sten lands with a short head shot on the inside. A left hand lands to the body for Sten.
Pozar Pozar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sten stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Pozar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sten walks away with a smile on his face. Pozar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Sten moves into the clinch successfully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A short right from Sten on the inside. Sten is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Sten escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sten works Pozar's body with a nice hook. Sten keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan Sten showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sten, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
