Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ed ONeill (ranked 5548 p4p, 587 weight class) and Razor Ramon (ranked 9127 p4p, 700 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ed ONeill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Razor Ramon! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramon shoots and misses and ONeill counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ramon thinking. Ramon slips a jab from ONeill. Ramon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ramon misses with a takedown letting ONeill counter with a right hand. Ramon throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Ramon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Ramon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ramon is defended easily by ONeill. Ed ONeill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Razor Ramon. ONeill throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ramon on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramon throws a shot to the body.
Ramon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from ONeill. Ramon avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ramon goes for a double leg but ONeill avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as ONeill continues to drive forward. ONeill misses with a straight right. Ramon with the counter takedown but ONeill avoids it easily. ONeill misses the shot to the body. ONeill uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Nice sprawl there from ONeill as Ramon shoots in. Ramon throws a sloppy body shot
and ONeill counters with a stiff right hand. ONeill looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Ramon tries for a takedown but ONeill circles away easily and ONeill connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. ONeill throws a body shot but no joy. ONeill jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
ONeill swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. ONeill misses the jab. Ramon dives in for a single leg takedown but ONeill sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. ONeill is looking to counter punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ramon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says ONeill as he avoids it easily. Ramon swinging wildly here.
Ramon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. ONeill defends it nicely. ONeill slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. ONeill feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ramon sprawling to the canvas! Ramon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can ONeill finish him?!
Ramon is rocked! Ed ONeill is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ramon wants to clinch up but ONeill keeps it at a distance. Ramon is still on wobbly legs! Can ONeill finish him? Ramon misses with a takedown and ONeill rattles Ramon with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Ramon tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. ONeill dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Ramon stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ed ONeill! A very excited looking Ed ONeill made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
