Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cedrick Callahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wanky Mcwanky!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcwanky looking to score a takedown here. Callahan is defending well but Mcwanky drives through and ends up in Callahan's guard.

Mcwanky stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Callahan gets a clinch.

Mcwanky pulls guard successfully.

Mcwanky working for a triangle but Callahan defends it easily.
Mcwanky avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Callahan postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcwanky is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Callahan defends well.
Callahan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Callahan being controlled here momentarily.

Callahan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Callahan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Callahan works over Mcwanky with some ground and pound from guard.
Mcwanky seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Callahan chips away with some ground and pound.
Callahan wants to control from the top but Mcwanky keeps moving.

Mcwanky looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Callahan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mcwanky controls Callahan momentarily but Callahan frees himself.
Mcwanky pulls Callahan in close to prevent any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Callahan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Callahan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Callahan controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Callahan trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcwanky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Wanky Mcwanky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Callahan as Mcwanky shoots in.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Mcwanky closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Callahan quickly recovers to half guard.
Mcwanky trying to control from Callahan's half guard. Callahan has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Mcwanky wants to pass the guard but Callahan is keeping the position.

Callahan is trying to keep Mcwanky in close.

Callahan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcwanky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Callahan is keeping the position for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mcwanky slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mcwanky trying to control but Callahan is working from the bottom.
Mcwanky stops Callahan from standing up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Mcwanky rushes Callahan and presses him up against the cage.

Callahan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Mcwanky is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Callahan's half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wanky Mcwanky dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Mcwanky gets caught napping as Callahan dives in and scores a takedown. Mcwanky manages to retain guard.

Callahan throws a sloppy strike and Mcwanky has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Callahan is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Mcwanky!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Wanky Mcwanky!
After the fight, Wanky Mcwanky was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
