Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zaroc Patterson! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow connects with a crisp jab. Patterson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Patterson is rocked! Snow connects with a crisp jab. Patterson is still on wobbly legs! Can Snow finish him? Patterson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Snow wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Patterson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Snow as he jumps to the side. Patterson seems to have recovered his senses. Snow scores with a hook to the body. Patterson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A jab from Snow does it's job there. Snow lands a right hook to the body.
Snow connects with a body shot that sends Patterson's belly button to the back. Jim Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow lands with an uppercut that bounces Patterson off the cage and back into range. Snow scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Snow! After the fight, Jim Snow was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
