Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Ryan (ranked 272 p4p, 41 weight class) and Kayring Saiarr (ranked 1029 p4p, 159 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ryan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Animals - House of the Rising Sun. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Ryan! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kayring Saiarr! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryan throws a leg kick that is checked and Saiarr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Saiarr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ryan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Saiarr scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Ryan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Saiarr lands with an uppercut that bounces Ryan off the cage and back into range. A head kick misses from Ryan. The fighters circling - Saiarr throws out the jab but it was never going to land. It looked like Ryan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Ryan throws a body kick that misses. Saiarr lunges at Ryan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ryan's hand. Ryan checks the leg kick. Ryan slips a straight right by Saiarr. Ryan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Saiarr drops his hands momentarily and Ryan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ryan listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Kayring Saiarr has been cut. Ryan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saiarr throws a body punch but Ryan moves out of range. Ryan throws a quick counter kick to the body but Saiarr avoids it. Ryan is looking to clinch but Saiarr is avoiding it.
Saiarr tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. and Saiarr counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ryan! He's just covering up as Saiarr starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kayring Saiarr! Kayring Saiarr is the new light heavyweight champion! A less than humble Kayring Saiarr misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
