Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yahweh Falwell (ranked 6463 p4p, 288 weight class) and Dolph Landgren (ranked 4676 p4p, 227 weight class). Falwell comes to the ring accompanied by Don't Stop Believing. Landgren has chosen Hunter by Paleowolf as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dolph Landgren!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falwell slips a jab and a cross from Landgren.
Falwell looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Landgren gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Landgren has clasped his hands together around Falwell's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Falwell tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Falwell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Landgren on the ground.

Landgren is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Falwell has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Falwell is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Landgren. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Landgren is punishing Falwell with strikes - can he finish him?!
Landgren looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Landgren tries to keep control of the position but Falwell is staying busy.
Landgren misses with a punch to the head.
What can Falwell do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Let's hope that Landgren has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Falwell wants to get back to his feet.

Falwell is trying to remain composed but Landgren is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Landgren.
Landgren tries to get the hooks in deep but Falwell pushed the leg off.

Landgren lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Falwell.
Falwell is rocked!
Landgren has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Landgren scoring with big shots to the body. Falwell is looking for a way out. A despairing look towards the ref and the official steps in to stop the fight. Falwell was obviously done but didn't want to tap out.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dolph Landgren!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Dolph Landgren waved his t-shirt featuring Blue Moon's logo in front of the cameras.
Yahweh Falwell was interviewed post fight and said 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I rolled more instead of praying, I might have learned to defend submissions. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.
