The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cambiasso blocks the body kick.
Crescent misses with a low kick.
Cambiasso avoids a kick to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Cambiasso. No joy for Crescent on that attempt.
Crescent shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Crescent showed some decent athleticism there.
Cambiasso tries to roll over but Crescent keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cambiasso is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Crescent's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Crescent's back!
Cambiasso working for a choke but Crescent is defending well.

Crescent trying to control the hands but Cambiasso won't let him.
Crescent rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Crescent wants to sweep but no luck.
Crescent is working hard here to advance position.
Cambiasso drops back, looking for a kneebar! Crescent looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Crescent looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Crescent!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cambiasso is working to avoid the ground and pound but Crescent connects with a decent elbow.
Crescent wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cambiasso keeps working.

Crescent lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Cambiasso down.
It looks like Esteban Cambiasso has been cut.
Crescent gets to mount! Cambiasso was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Crescent cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Cambiasso is bucking up trying to escape but Crescent cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Crescent goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cambiasso is on top in guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crescent is looking to sweep but instead, Cambiasso has passed into half guard.
Cambiasso is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Crescent doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cambiasso.

Crescent has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cambiasso defend it? Crescent steps over the head and cranks it - Cambiasso is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Crescent!
