Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mujibur Rahman (ranked 1229 p4p, 149 weight class) and Jer Bear (ranked 1558 p4p, 191 weight class). Bear is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Good Times. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mujibur Rahman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jer Bear! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear lands a head kick. Rahman smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Rahman checks a leg kick. Jer Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bear tries to clinch there but Rahman circles away.
Bear tries a head kick but it misses.
A quick step to the side and Rahman tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Bear doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rahman counters with a slapping leg kick. Nice straight punches there by Bear. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bear. Bear clinches with his opponent.
Bear breaks from the clinch.
Rahman avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Rahman is looking to counter the offense by Bear and move into the clinch. Bear throws a sloppy head kick and Rahman makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Bear tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rahman tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bear manages to circle out of the way. Bear gets the takedown into side control. Rahman explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rahman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Bear tries to clinch but fails miserably and Rahman counters with an inside leg kick. Bear closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rahman scores with a nice hook to the head. Bear missing with knees to the body.
Rahman works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Bear looks winded! Rahman lands an elbow just above Bear 's eye.
It looks like Jer Bear has been cut. We've been informed that Bear has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Rahman lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Rahman. Rahman lands with a short head shot on the inside. Bear has Rahman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rahman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Rahman lands with a short head shot on the inside. Rahman misses with a body punch.

Rahman lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Rahman misses with an elbow over the top. Bear takes a knee to the side of the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rahman lands a nice shot to the body. Bear wants to stall.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Rahman obliges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rahman lands a nice elbow.
That has opened up Jer Bear's cut even more. Rahman lands an elbow just above Bear 's eye. Rahman stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Rahman lands an elbow that stopped Bear in his tracks for a moment. Nice elbow from Rahman.
The cut above Jer Bear's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Rahman tries to throw a body punch but Bear avoids it by throwing Rahman back against the cage. Rahman has Bear pressed against the cage.
Bear jumps guard.
Rahman sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bear is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rahman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rahman scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Rahman content to stall in guard here. Rahman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rahman controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bear tries to keep at a distance but Rahman has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bear is trying to force a seperation but Rahman has the dominant position. Rahman is working Bear over against the cage. Knees to the body from Rahman.
Rahman scores with a nice hook to the head. A left hand lands to the body for Rahman.
Rahman lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Jer Bear's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jer Bear's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mujibur Rahman! Mujibur Rahman gave a mention to MayheM sportswear in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
