Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Poulter (ranked 3762 p4p, 465 weight class) and Bobby Zepp (ranked 5155 p4p, 589 weight class). Zepp has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

53 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Zepp!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poulter fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Bobby Zepp has been cut.
Poulter does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Zepp has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
A big left from Zepp misses.
Poulter scores with a jab to the head.
Zepp slips under a jab from Poulter.
Poulter swings for the body but Zepp moves out of range.
Zepp scores with a jab. Poulter acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Poulter throws a sloppy head kick
and Zepp counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Poulter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Zepp.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Poulter jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A little jabbing left from Zepp on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Poulter throws a chopping leg kick but Zepp manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Poulter lands a really nice looking cross but Zepp seems unphased.
Poulter scores with a punch to the head.
The fighters circling - Zepp throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Zepp uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Poulter.
Zepp only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Zepp swats away the attempt to clinch by Poulter.
Zepp is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Poulter with a body shot.
Paul Poulter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Poulter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Poulter misses with a right hand
and Zepp counters with a stiff right hand.
Poulter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zepp makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Zepp scores with a jab.
Zepp throws a lazy right hand but Poulter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Poulter lands with a cross.
Zepp scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Poulter doesn't seem bothered though.
Poulter has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Poulter there as he acknowledges the shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zepp throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zepp misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Poulter.

Poulter digs a good hook to Zepp's body.
A low kick from Poulter misses
and Zepp counters with a straight right hand.
Poulter scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
A left and a right from Zepp both land. Nice combination.
Poulter throws the left hand but Zepp avoids the punch easily.
Poulter turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Poulter is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Zepp throws a hook but Poulter blocks it.
Poulter throws a poor cross that misses
and Zepp counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Poulter! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobby Zepp!
Bobby Zepp really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Freebok (85% Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
