Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Truck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petrovolinksi Kotoski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Truck comes into the arena with Knockin Heads Off blaring out of the sound system. Kotoski has chosen Till I Collapse as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shaun Truck ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Petrovolinksi Kotoski! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Truck misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kotoski has closed the distance and engaged Truck in a clinch.
Truck is looking to break free of the clinch but Kotoski has double underhooks. Truck gets control of Kotoski's arms and successfully pulls guard. Truck will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Kotoski postures up and lands a big shot to Truck 's brow. Kotoski distracts Truck with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Truck has momentary wrist control but Kotoski slips an elbow through the middle. Kotoski stands up from guard. Let's bang! Truck tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Truck missing with a left hand there. Kotoski was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kotoski scores with a leg kick.
Kotoski lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Truck fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Truck fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kotoski sprawls well initially but Truck persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Truck is trying to work for a kimura but Kotoski is defending well.
Kotoski is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Truck sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kotoski defending well though. Kotoski trying to hold on to Truck 's head to control him but Truck postures up.
Kotoski kicks Truck off and gets back to his feet. Truck swats away the attempt to clinch by Kotoski. Kotoski scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kotoski decides to stand back up. Truck is breathing heavily. Kotoski shoots for a takedown but Truck saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Truck lands with a right hand. Kotoski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kotoski tries to clinch up. Kotoski takes the fight into the clinch. Kotoski tries for a takedown but Truck manages to get underhooks.
Truck is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Truck escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kotoski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kotoski doesn't manage to clinch there - Truck circles away.
No joy there for Kotoski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Truck feints and as Kotoski raises his hands in defense, Truck changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Truck has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kotoski is on top in guard.
Truck working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kotoski. Kotoski trying to control the position from guard on top but Truck is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kotoski throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Truck looking for a guillotine here but Kotoski defends easily.
Truck can't keep his opponent in guard - Kotoski advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kotoski not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Truck avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kotoski. Kotoski stops Truck from getting back to his feet.
Kotoski decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Truck misses with an uppercut. Truck misses with a takedown attempt and Kotoski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Truck 's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaun Truck . That's going to take a lot out of him. Kotoski passes into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kotoski has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Petrovolinksi Kotoski dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kotoski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Truck as he avoids it easily. Truck shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Truck showed some decent athleticism there. Truck working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kotoski is trying to stand up here but Truck is controlling him well. Kotoski flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kotoski gets back to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Truck wants to get up but he can't break Kotoski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kotoski wants to improve his position but instead Truck has moved into half guard.
Kotoski is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are battling for position here. Kotoski manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Truck postures up.
Truck wants to stand but Kotoski has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kotoski throws a nice elbow from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kotoski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Truck 's guard. Kotoski decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Kotoski is looking to clinch but Truck is avoiding it.

Truck pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Truck moves out of range as Kotoski strikes. Kotoski fails with a takedown attempt. A head kick by Kotoski misses and Truck counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Truck wants to stand but Kotoski has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Kotoski is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kotoski wants to get back to full guard. Kotoski pushes Truck off looking to stand but Truck dives back in and keeps control.
Truck seems to be working for a kimura but Kotoski defends the submission attempt. Kotoski is pressing down on Truck 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Truck is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kotoski is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kotoski has escaped and now he's on top! Truck working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Kotoski has passed into half guard!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Truck tries to roll over but Kotoski keeps him under control. Kotoski stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Truck to get to his feet. Kotoski scores with a takedown into Truck 's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Petrovolinksi Kotoski will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Truck has his takedown stuffed and Kotoski counters with a straight right hand. Some bone on bone action there as Kotoski checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kotoski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kotoski throws a head kick but Truck moves out of range.
Truck misses with a straight left. Kotoski drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kotoski working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Kotoski darts in trying to clinch and Truck counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kotoski! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kotoski tries to get back to half guard but can't. Truck is looking to stand but Truck has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Truck moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kotoski has worked his arm free - good work by Kotoski!

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Truck stalling away here and it's allowed Kotoski to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Kotoski is looking to stand up but Truck isn't so interested in that idea. Kotoski looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Truck is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kotoski is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kotoski has escaped and now he's on top! Truck is looking to stand up but Kotoski isn't so interested in that idea.

Kotoski gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Truck tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Kotoski is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Truck gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Shaun Truck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Petrovolinksi Kotoski. Kotoski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A cross from Kotoski lands. Truck tries to bum rush Kotoski with a series of wild strikes but Kotoski uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Truck throws a right hand that Kotoski ducks under and follows up with a left that Kotoski also avoids with ease. Truck tries to keep at a distance but Kotoski has taken the fight into the clinch. Truck wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kotoski has him pressed against the cage. Kotoski has Truck pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kotoski pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Truck tumbling to the mat - Kotoski dives into Truck 's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Truck is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! Petrovolinksi Kotoski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kotoski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
