Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Gracie (ranked 6337 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Osgood (ranked 5947 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie is looking to clinch but Osgood is avoiding it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Good leg kick by Osgood there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Osgood throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Osgood shoots in looking for a takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl out of it but Osgood keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gracie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gracie changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Osgood shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Osgood manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Gracie keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Osgood jumps into guard, dragging Gracie to the mat.

Osgood closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Gracie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Osgood walks away with a smile on his face. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Osgood rushes Gracie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Osgood is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gracie is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Osgood is defending well.

Osgood tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Osgood has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Osgood is breathing heavily.
Gracie is looking for a sweep.
Gracie can't do much from the bottom here.
Gracie tries to improve position but can't.
Gracie sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Osgood is just content to waste time from the top position. Gracie takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Osgood tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Gracie wants to get back to his feet.
Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Osgood's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Osgood.

Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Osgood's waist but Osgood gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
