Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Lenny Manelito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pacer Dalton!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Manelito gets caught flat footed, as Dalton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dalton is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Manelito wants to stand but Dalton is controlling the position.
Dalton controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Dalton prevents Manelito from getting back to his feet.

Dalton is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dalton controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Dalton might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Dalton won't let Manelito get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dalton is continuing to stall.
Manelito wants to get back to his feet.
Dalton tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pacer Dalton dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Dalton shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Manelito looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dalton looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dalton's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
More stalling from Dalton.
The adventures of Dalton the control monster continue. Boring.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dalton drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dalton is stalling in the full guard.
Dalton advances position into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Let's hope that Dalton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dalton with more of the same as he continues to hold on.

Pacer Dalton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



A momentary lapse in concentration from Manelito enables Dalton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Manelito manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Manelito wants to stand up but Dalton is controlling him.
Dalton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Dalton fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Manelito to the ground. Dalton is now in Manelito's guard.

Manelito seems to have got his legs back now.
Yet more stalling tactics from Dalton.

Pacer Dalton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dalton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
