Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Drew Paul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christian Scott!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scott looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Scott passes to side control.
Scott lands some shots froms side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scott stands up.

Scott fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Paul sprawls well initially but Scott persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Scott is just content to waste time from the top position. Paul takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Paul has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Scott can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Scott shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Paul's guard.

Scott looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Paul is not content to let Scott control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Scott looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Christian Scott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Paul gets caught flat footed, as Scott shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Scott lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Paul throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Scott escapes and throws Paul's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Well Scott has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
