Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles DaCoca (ranked 477 p4p, 19 weight class) and Nick Force (ranked 480 p4p, 22 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Charles DaCoca has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Charles DaCoca seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Force!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DaCoca takes one on the button.


It looks like Charles DaCoca has been cut.
Force throws a body punch but DaCoca moves out of range.
Force misses with a wild body shot.
Force punishes DaCoca's body with a nice straight punch.
Force lands a slapping body shot.
Force throws a head kick that misses
and Force takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Force lands with a kick to the ribs.
Force digs a good body shot into DaCoca's ribs.
A head kick misses from Force.
DaCoca keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
DaCoca takes one on the button.
Force swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nick Force seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

DaCoca swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

DaCoca quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
DaCoca takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Force lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Force lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Force's jab looks to have found its range, popping DaCoca under the eye.
Force is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! DaCoca had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Force fakes high and swings low for a body shot but DaCoca manages to avoid it.

It looked like DaCoca wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

DaCoca lands with a hook. Force tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Force missing with a left hand there. DaCoca was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
DaCoca swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Force fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. DaCoca looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
DaCoca defending well as Force loads up on a big left hand.
DaCoca throws a quick counter kick to the body but Force avoids it.
DaCoca takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Force throws a shot to the body.
Force is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down DaCoca rather than just go for the knockout.
DaCoca takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Force throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent DaCoca stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Force ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Force paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Force has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
DaCoca misses with a looping left.
DaCoca on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Force lands a nice shot to the body.
DaCoca takes a shot to the body in his stride.

DaCoca blocks a head kick by Force.
DaCoca is looking to counter punch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

DaCoca looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Force misses with a looping right.
It looked like DaCoca was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Force.
Force throws a body shot but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jeez, Charles DaCoca's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Charles DaCoca's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
