Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leo Stout (ranked 6288 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Riggs (ranked 4154 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leo Stout! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Riggs! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riggs rushes Stout and presses him up against the cage. Stout is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Riggs to keep the fight standing. Riggs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stout moves out of range of the body kick from Riggs.
Riggs has closed the distance and engaged Stout in a clinch.
Riggs tries to pull guard but Stout won't allow it.
Riggs tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stout smiles and moves away.
Riggs swats away the attempt to clinch by Stout. Riggs looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Leo Stout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Riggs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stout tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Riggs throws a big counter head kick but Stout avoids it with no problem. Riggs drives through and clinches with Stout against the cage.
Riggs breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Riggs shoots in looking for a takedown. Stout tries to sprawl out of it but Riggs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stout manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs rushes Stout and presses him up against the cage. Riggs has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stout is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Stout managing to block the knees to the body from Riggs.
Stout has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Riggs uses from the top position. Stout is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stout is on top in guard.
Stout makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stout throws a big right hand that misses. Riggs has his hands on Stout's head, controlling the position. Stout stopping the sweep attempt from Riggs. Stout distracts Riggs with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Riggs is looking for a triangle here but Stout uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Stout is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Riggs has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stout looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Riggs is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Riggs's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Stout is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Riggs knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Riggs tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stout working away. Stout working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Riggs tries to get back to half guard but can't. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Riggs is trying to control Stout's posture but Stout avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leo Stout dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Riggs shoots in but no luck this time. Stout throws a big counter combination but Riggs scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Riggs swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Leo Stout is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Riggs shoots in for a takedown but Stout shows good takedown defense. Stout tries to close the distance and clinch up but Riggs swats him away and circles back towards the center. Riggs drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Stout defends it well. Riggs has managed to clinch.

Stout is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Riggs is aware though and is defending well. Stout controls Riggs momentarily but Riggs frees himself. Riggs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stout swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stout is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Riggs defends well. Riggs throwing strikes but missing.

Stout looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Riggs wants to control from the top but Stout keeps moving. Stout working a defensive guard here.
Stout is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Riggs can do to turn this around? Stout pushes Riggs off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Leo Stout is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stout tries to close the distance and clinch up but Riggs swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Riggs tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Stout defends well and Riggs ends up having to push Stout into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Leo Stout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Riggs. Riggs shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The fight moves into the clinch position. A right hook to the body lands for Riggs.

It looks like Leo Stout has been cut. Stout is trying to pull guard but Riggs has him pressed against the cage. A shot in the inside from Riggs.
Leo Stout's cut is getting worse. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Riggs gets control of Stout's arms and successfully pulls guard. Riggs will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Riggs tries to land a sweep but no joy. Riggs not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Stout throwing strikes from guard but Riggs blocks nicely. Stout connects with a couple of short punches. Stout throws a big elbow that misses.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Riggs shoots in and drives through. Stout sprawls well. Riggs clinches up with Stout and pushes him back against the cage.

Stout keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Riggs connects with a body shot. Stout stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stout wants it to stay on the feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Riggs as Stout tries to tie him up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Riggs is trying to pull guard but Stout turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Leo Stout will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Leo Stout's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Stout taking a breather. Riggs goes for a takedown attempt but Stout pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Riggs walks away with a smile on his face. Stout gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Stout slaps away a takedown attempt from Riggs, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Leo Stout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Riggs. Stout tries to close the distance and clinch up but Riggs swats him away and circles back towards the center. Riggs moves into range and clinches up with Stout. Stout escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Stout wants to clinch but Riggs slips to the side and Riggs counters with a takedown into side control. Stout throws Riggs to one side and escapes! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Riggs tries for a takedown but Stout sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Riggs moves into the clinch. Riggs ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Riggs no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riggs working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stout. Stout loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stout drops back looking for a leg! Riggs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Riggs manages to kick Stout off! Stout jumps back into Riggs's guard. Stout drops back looking for a leg! Riggs is in trouble here! He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Stout tries to clinch but Riggs moves out of range. Stout moves in looking to clinch but Riggs pushes him off. Riggs drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Stout defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Riggs shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stout as he avoids it easily. Riggs instigates a clinch. Stout gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Riggs.
Riggs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice takedown defense from Stout. No joy for Riggs on that attempt. Riggs stalks Stout and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stout's face. Stout staggers backwards, shaken. Stout wants to clinch up but Riggs keeps it at a distance. Stout tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Despite the aggression on Riggs's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. John Riggs has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Leo Stout is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Riggs swats away the attempt to clinch by Stout. Riggs unleashes a big counter combination but Stout bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! John Riggs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Stout has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
