Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Larry McGregor (ranked 2806 p4p, 262 weight class) and John Snow (ranked 4255 p4p, 381 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Larry McGregor has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Larry McGregor seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Snow!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow throws a looping overhand right but McGregor ducks down to avoid it.
McGregor throwing a counter right hand but Snow manages to avoid it.
McGregor on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Snow takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
McGregor stuns Snow with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
McGregor moves into range and connects with a jab.
Snow uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McGregor.
Snow feints a jab promting McGregor to slip. Snow then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McGregor slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Snow let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Snow lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Snow counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Snow's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McGregor connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Snow scrambles back to his feet.

Snow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Snow fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McGregor looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Larry McGregor will probably get the nod.

Snow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

McGregor lands a big uppercut and Snow crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Snow looks OK. McGregor waves Snow back to his feet!
John Snow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

McGregor drives through and clinches with Snow against the cage.
McGregor lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
McGregor misses with a body punch.
McGregor lands with a short shot to the head.
McGregor dips a shoulder and cracks Snow with a mighty uppercut! Snow falls back against the cage and McGregor unloads with a barrage of strikes! Snow is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - McGregor screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Larry McGregor!
Larry McGregor very nearly forgot to thank Aspire Nutrition amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
