Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abu Azaitar (ranked 4434 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santiago Andre (ranked 9442 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Andre misses
and Azaitar moves into the clinch.
Andre scores with a knee to the head.
A frustrated look appears on Andre's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Azaitar drags the fight down to the ground.
Azaitar seems keen to control Andre's posture.
Andre must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Azaitar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Azaitar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andre tries to avoid it but Azaitar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andre to the ground. Andre escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Azaitar shoots in for a takedown but Andre shows good takedown defense.

and Azaitar counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Andre tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Azaitar smiles and moves away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Abu Azaitar will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Azaitar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
