Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez throws a hook but Garland avoids it easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Alvarez, as that shot connected.
Garland rushes Alvarez and presses him up against the cage.
Garland prevents Alvarez from breaking the clinch.
Alvarez blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Alvarez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Garland has him pressed against the cage.
Alvarez lands a body punch.
Alvarez is working Garland over against the cage.
Garland goes for a takedown in the clinch but Alvarez prevents it.
Alvarez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Garland dives in for a single leg takedown but Alvarez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A shot to the liver by Alvarez. Beautiful body shot.
Alvarez tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Garland is able to avoid easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alvarez connects with a body shot.
Garland tries to keep at a distance but Alvarez has taken the fight into the clinch.
Alvarez breaks the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Garland checks the leg kick nicely there.

It looks like Murray Garland has been cut.

Alvarez drops Garland with a naaaaasty hook - Garland is in real trouble here! Alvarez dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Justin Alvarez opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
In defeat, Murray Garland stepped up to the mic, saying 'Next time, Gadget'.
