Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jaddie Defensor Iii (ranked 7279 p4p, 510 weight class) and William McDougal (ranked 4862 p4p, 408 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, William McDougal!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Defensor Iii lands a nice looking kick to the body. McDougal takes a step back to recover.
McDougal fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Defensor Iii to the ground. McDougal is now in Defensor Iii's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Defensor Iii wants to get back to his feet but McDougal is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
McDougal stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Defensor Iii swivels though and keeps the full guard.
My spies in Red Tri-Angle Gym. 15 Coaches/13 Elite inform me that McDougal has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Defensor Iii wants to get back to his feet but McDougal is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Defensor Iii trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McDougal is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
