Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Very Rounded (ranked 3041 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piercing Elbow (ranked 5569 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Very Rounded! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Piercing Elbow! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.

Elbow is looking to clinch but Rounded is avoiding it.
Elbow wants to clinch and Rounded counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Elbow thinking. Elbow tries to clinch but Rounded moves out of range. Rounded is looking to counter punch.
Elbow closes the distance and pushes Rounded back into the cage. Rounded avoids the elbow strike from Elbow, against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Elbow just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rounded's brow. Elbow throws an elbow but it misses.
Elbow misses with an elbow over the top. Elbow throws an elbow but it misses.
Elbow lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Elbow creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Rounded tries for a takedown but Elbow manages to get underhooks.
Rounded looking for a takedown. Rounded jumps guard but Elbow turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Very Rounded. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rounded has picked Elbow up - he's going for a ride! Rounded dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rounded stops Elbow from getting back to his feet.
Elbow is trying to escape back to his feet but Rounded uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Elbow is pushing Rounded's head away, looking to escape. Rounded manages to hold on to the position though.

Rounded seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Elbow for as long as he can get away with. Elbow tries to escape but Rounded is in control. Rounded tries to move to mount but Elbow blocks the move with his legs.
Rounded working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Elbow bucks up and tries to throw Rounded off but instead Rounded has got his back!
Rounded has managed to slip his arm under Elbow's chin. This could be all over... yep, Elbow is tapping out! Submission win for Rounded.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Very Rounded! After winning the bout, Very Rounded thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
