Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Savage Samaritan (ranked 3858 p4p, 377 weight class) and Egyptian Embalmer (ranked 1120 p4p, 126 weight class). Embalmer has chosen Katy Perry - Dark Horse ft. Juicy J as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Savage Samaritan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Egyptian Embalmer! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Embalmer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Embalmer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Samaritan did well to prevent Embalmer getting side control. Samaritan has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Samaritan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Samaritan gets full guard. Samaritan controls Embalmer momentarily but Embalmer frees himself. Embalmer lands a couple of digs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Embalmer is looking to work some ground and pound but Samaritan has wrist control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Embalmer postures up in Samaritan's guard and throws a big left but Samaritan blocks it. Samaritan working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Embalmer has passed into half guard!

That's one minute gone in the round. Embalmer slows the pace down in half guard. Samaritan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Samaritan trying to control here.

But no, Samaritan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Embalmer but great work by Samaritan. Embalmer taking a bit of punishment here - Samaritan scoring with strikes. Embalmer tries to bench press Samaritan off him but Samaritan keeps the position. Embalmer regains half guard. Embalmer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Embalmer works his way to full guard. Good work. Embalmer keeping moving, preventing Samaritan from controlling successfully. Embalmer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Samaritan is one step ahead there. Embalmer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Samaritan tries to counter with a takedown but Embalmer is quick to defend against it. Samaritan shoots in but no luck this time. Samaritan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Samaritan desperately trying to maintain half guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Embalmer working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Samaritan is refusing to be controlled, as Embalmer sits in half guard. Embalmer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Samaritan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Embalmer. Egyptian Embalmer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Samaritan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Embalmer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Embalmer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Samaritan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Embalmer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Samaritan defends it well. Embalmer works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Samaritan is looking to get to half guard. Embalmer is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Samaritan is surviving well by controlling Embalmer's body position as best he can. Samaritan is trying to escape the mount.
Embalmer looking to control and managing it successfully. A nice elbow there by Embalmer. Embalmer fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Embalmer takes Samaritan's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Samaritan is in trouble.

Samaritan is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Embalmer gets his way!

That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Samaritan's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Embalmer is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Samaritan is defending well though. Embalmer let's go of the attempt for now. Embalmer has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Samaritan defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Embalmer looking to break Samaritan's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Samaritan remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Embalmer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Embalmer is looking for a choke. Samaritan gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Samaritan manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Embalmer pushes a forearm under Samaritan's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Samaritan is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Egyptian Embalmer! A relieved looking Egyptian Embalmer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
