The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hadley Jr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Franklin checks a leg kick.
Hadley Jr bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Franklin lands a right hook to the body.
Franklin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Will Franklin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hadley Jr clinches up with Franklin and pushes him back against the ropes.
Franklin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Franklin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Franklin has his hands clasped together but Hadley Jr extends and breaks Franklin's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hadley Jr.
