Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tony Ramos (ranked 253 p4p, 14 weight class) and Mini Stipe (ranked 515 p4p, 27 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tony Ramos has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tony Ramos seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Ramos ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mini Stipe! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stipe fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ramos is out of range. Ramos cracks Stipe with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Ramos throws a right hand that misses
and Stipe counters with a straight punch to the midsection. We've been hearing reports that Ramos has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Stipe attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Stipe slips a straight right by Ramos . Stipe tries a head kick but it misses.
Stipe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Stipe misses the jab. Ramos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stipe circles away quickly and effectively. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stipe throws a low kick but it's checked well by Ramos . Ramos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stipe throws a chopping leg kick but Ramos manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Ramos lands a jab to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circling - Ramos throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ramos throws a sloppy body shot
and Stipe counters with a left to the body. Ramos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stipe.

Stipe motions for Ramos to come forward. Stipe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Ramos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stipe can pounce on him.
Stipe needs to keep his hands up - Ramos had a free shot at his head there. Stipe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Stipe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ramos 's sensitive parts. Ramos takes a swing at Stipe's ribcage but misses. Stipe swings for the body but Ramos moves out of range.
A low kick from Stipe is predictable there and Ramos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stipe won't be happy with that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ramos creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Ramos is putting a hurting on Stipe here, landing some big shots from side control. Stipe managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ramos .
Ramos lands a few punches from side control. Ramos misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Ramos lands some shots froms side control. Ramos misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Ramos scores with punches from side control. Ramos is trying to get an arm triangle but Stipe is defending well. Stipe is not content to let Ramos control the position.

Stipe tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ramos wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Stipe struggling a bit here. Ramos lands a nice forearm strike. An elbow from Ramos crashes against the mat.
Ramos cracks Stipe with a big right hand but Stipe just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramos throws a strike aimed at the side of Stipe's head but Stipe avoids it well. Stipe sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Ramos scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Stipe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ramos is thwarting Stipe's attempts to control the position. Stipe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ramos prevents Stipe from improving his position. Ramos throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Stipe to regain full guard. Ramos throws a big right hand that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Ramos dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Stipe tries a quick counter leg kick but Ramos is wise to it. Ramos moves into range and clinches up with Stipe. Ramos tries to score a body lock takedown but Stipe shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Stipe throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ramos s head. Stipe lands a nice uppercut. Ramos works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Stipe is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ramos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stipe works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ramos scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stipe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ramos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ramos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ramos makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ramos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ramos trying to control but Stipe is working from the bottom. Stipe is adopting a defensive guard. Ramos is working Stipe over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ramos throwing strikes from guard but Stipe blocks nicely. Ramos trying to control but Stipe is working from the bottom. Ramos missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ramos scoring with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ramos throws a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Stipe is trying to keep Ramos in close.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Ramos throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ramos is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Ramos misses with a body shot.
Stipe throws a jab when Ramos was well out of range. Ramos tries to close the distance and clinch but Stipe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ramos fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ramos throws a hook but Stipe avoids it easily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stipe lands a right hook to the body.
Stipe throws a body punch but Ramos moves out of range. Stipe throws a solid leg kick but Ramos takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stipe. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Ramos dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Tony Ramos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ramos working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. That's one minute gone in the round. Ramos with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Stipe is pulling down on Ramos 's head. It's preventing any offense from Ramos , at least for the moment. Ramos working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Stipe's head. Ramos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stipe swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ramos postures up and lands a big shot to Stipe's brow. Ramos throws an elbow that misses. Stipe uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ramos 's guard. Nice move by Stipe! Stipe not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Stipe stopping the sweep attempt from Ramos . Mini Stipe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stipe scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Stipe is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Stipe with a nice head shot there. Ramos wants to sweep but no luck. Ramos is looking for a triangle but Stipe pushes his legs off easily.
Ramos has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Stipe has passed into side control.
Stipe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ramos keeps working. Ramos is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Stipe is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stipe prevents Ramos from getting the reversal. Ramos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stipe can do to turn this around? Stipe looking to control but Ramos is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ramos is trying desperately to improve position. Stipe with shots to the head and body - Ramos looks very uncomfortable down there. Stipe lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Ramos is trying to escape the mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramos wants to hold on but Stipe pushes him away. Ramos slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Ramos works his way to full guard. Good work. Ramos looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stipe is one step ahead there. Ramos is working hard here to advance position. Stipe landing with the ground and pound. Tony Ramos is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stipe wants to control from the top but Ramos keeps moving. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ramos is trying to control the position but Stipe postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mini Stipe. I think Ramos has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
