Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Randy Marsh (ranked 6055 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jester Wester (ranked 4943 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Randy Marsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jester Wester!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wester moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wester swings for the body but Marsh moves out of range.
Randy Marsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wester swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wester lands a nice hook to Marsh's body. Marsh takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wester dodges the punch combination from Marsh.
Marsh misses with a double jab.
Wester uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marsh has time to react.
Marsh attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Wester connects with a jab.
A big left from Wester misses.
Marsh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wester moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wester lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Wester ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marsh moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marsh scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Marsh throws a right hand that Wester ducks under and follows up with a left that Wester also avoids with ease.
Wester let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Wester lands with a shot to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Marsh. Those never looked like landing.
Marsh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wester.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wester fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Marsh is breathing heavily.
Wester's corner calls for a 1-2. Wester obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Marsh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wester throws out a counter right but Marsh avoids it with no problem.
Wester scores with a sloppy right hand. Marsh should have avoided that one.


It looks like Randy Marsh has been cut.
Wester ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marsh moves away.
Wester works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Marsh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wester.
Marsh misses with a series of wild punches.
Wester is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Marsh with a body shot.
Wester ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Marsh misses with a head kick.
A shot to the body from Marsh misses
and Wester counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wester throws a body punch but Marsh moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Wester connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wester thuds a left hand into Marsh's body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wester fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marsh manages to avoid it.
Marsh takes one to the chin there.
Wester misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Marsh.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wester. Marsh does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wester lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Marsh at a distance.
Marsh looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Wester ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wester smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Marsh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wester lands a nice shot to the body.
Wester is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Marsh had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Marsh takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wester cracks Marsh with an open hand slap.
Wester fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Marsh looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wester uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marsh has time to react.


Marsh is rocked!
Wester darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Oh Marsh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wester cracks Marsh on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Marsh falls backwards against the cage. Wester follows up with more strikes that drop Marsh to his knees. Wester keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Marsh! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jester Wester!
Jester Wester decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
