Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sanderlei Bitetti! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders moves out of range of the strikes. Sanders is looking for a counter combo. Bitetti wants to clinch up but Sanders keeps it at a distance. Sanders half committed to a counter leg kick. Bitetti fails with the takedown and Sanders counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Sanders trying to control the position from guard on top but Bitetti is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bitetti utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sanders trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bitetti looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bitetti throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders preventing the sweep. Sanders wants to control from the top but Bitetti keeps moving. Sanders has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bitetti is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sanders preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bitetti looking for subs off his back but Sanders has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bitetti is trying to maintain the position but Sanders is very close to passing his half guard. Bitetti looking for submissions off his back. Sanders could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Sanders content to control rather than advance. Bitetti wants to improve his position but Sanders is controlling well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanders looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bitetti moves into full guard.

Sanders is nestled in close to Bitetti, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Sanders not doing much here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanders trying to control from half guard but Bitetti is working away. Bitetti looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bitetti actively working from the bottom here. Bitetti is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sanders pulls his head out easily. Sanders slips a nice elbow through Bitetti's hands, connecting with Bitetti's forehead. Sanders prevents Bitetti from improving his position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ground and pound from Sanders. Sanders is nestled in close to Bitetti, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Sanders is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lawrence Sanders will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bitetti thuds a left hand into Sanders's body. Bitetti shoots and misses and Sanders holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sanders is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Bitetti drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sanders looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sanders looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sanders!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanders in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Bitetti sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Bitetti regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bitetti has an active guard here but Sanders has managed to pass into half guard.
Bitetti looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Sanders is taking a breather. Bitetti says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bitetti is looking to improve his position.
Bitetti makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bitetti. Sanders makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bitetti has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sanders can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bitetti is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sanders rolls with it to try and escape but Bitetti cranks on the arm and Sanders is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
