Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ueda Umanouke (ranked 775 p4p, 95 weight class) and Terryn Dall (ranked 896 p4p, 103 weight class). Umanouke comes to the cage accompanied by Kenji Kawai's Making of a Cyborg. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ueda Umanouke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terryn Dall! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Umanouke has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dall looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Umanouke jumps guard and drags Dall to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Umanouke has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dall avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Umanouke is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dall is aware though and is defending well. Dall trying to control the position from guard on top but Umanouke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Umanouke working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Dall has passed into half guard!

Umanouke is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at ~T~ Troid - Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dall is looking for a kimura but Umanouke is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dall to get the leverage. Dall is taking a breather. Umanouke says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Umanouke is trying to get back to full guard. Umanouke is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dall pulls his head out easily. Umanouke avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dall. Dall keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Umanouke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dall thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Dall wants to control but Umanouke is keeping him busy. Umanouke is trying to get back to full guard. Dall working Umanouke over with strikes. Dall is looking for a kimura but Umanouke is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dall to get the leverage. Umanouke avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dall. Dall slips a nice elbow through Umanouke's hands, connecting with Umanouke's forehead. Dall looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Umanouke actively working from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Umanouke is trying to get back to full guard. Umanouke looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dall working over Umanouke with some ground and pound. Umanouke looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Umanouke is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dall pulls his head out easily. Dall is trying to control the action in half guard but Umanouke is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Umanouke tries to roll over but Dall keeps him under control. Dall is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Umanouke has managed to free his arm - good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Terryn Dall dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Umanouke catches Dall with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Dall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Umanouke. Dall throws a counter combo. Umanouke with a poor takedown and Dall counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Umanouke fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dall avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ueda Umanouke. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dall swats away the attempt to clinch by Umanouke. Umanouke takes a swing at Dall's ribcage but misses. Dall throws a counter combo. Umanouke lands with an overhand left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Umanouke tries to clinch but Dall moves out of range. Dall is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Umanouke looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dall feints a counter leg kick. Dall fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Umanouke has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Umanouke looks to score with a jab to the body but Dall is just out of range. Dall looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Umanouke shoots for a takedown but Dall saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Umanouke tries to close the distance and clinch but Dall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Umanouke throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Dall with the counter takedown but Umanouke avoids it easily. Umanouke throws a sloppy body shot
and Dall counters with a stiff right hand. Umanouke scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dall doesn't seem bothered though. Umanouke scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Umanouke missing with a left hand there. Dall was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Dall drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Umanouke defends it well. Umanouke doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dall counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Ueda Umanouke has been cut. Umanouke has his takedown stuffed and Dall counters with a low kick, right behind Umanouke 's knee. Ueda Umanouke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Umanouke shoots in looking for a takedown but Dall manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Umanouke's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dall changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Umanouke fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Umanouke darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Dall moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Dall connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Umanouke's hands. Umanouke misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dall.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dall uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Umanouke. Dall ducks under a wild hook from Umanouke. Dall looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Umanouke loads up on a big right hand but Dall slips the punch. Umanouke misses with a jab to the body
and Dall counters with a nice leg kick. Umanouke misses with an uppercut
and Dall counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Umanouke misses with an uppercut. Dall saw that one coming. Dall throws out a counter right but Umanouke avoids it with no problem. Dall looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Dall looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Umanouke! Dall thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Umanouke manages to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dall is looking to advance position but Umanouke won't allow it. Umanouke moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Umanouke swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dall avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Umanouke escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Umanouke working for a triangle but Dall defends it easily.
Umanouke keeping moving, preventing Dall from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Terryn Dall will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Ueda Umanouke's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dall working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Terryn Dall has got the better of the ground game so far. Dall throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Umanouke to regain full guard. Dall tries to free his leg and advance position but Umanouke is retaining full guard. Umanouke escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Umanouke has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dall has managed to get both his arms back between Umanouke's legs - danger averted. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dall missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dall sitting in guard here, content to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Ueda Umanouke showed his dominance in that final round. I think Dall has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Terryn Dall! After the fight, Terryn Dall was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. In defeat, Ueda Umanouke stepped up to the mic, saying 'Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You can't do anything without risking something. I will be back avenge my honor.'.
